Jalen Jamal (he/they) is a composer stationed in Colorado. He has a Bachelor’s in music composition from Colorado State University. Originally from O’Fallon, Missouri, they continue working to develop both their performance and compositional abilities. They have performed with CSU’s wind symphony, orchestra, choirs, and percussion ensemble in a myriad of concerts since arriving at the university. He has had pieces performed at both Colorado State University, and Princeton at the Sō Percussion Summer Institute. Jamal loves forming new connections through performing and working with other musicians, and is always eagerly searching for more opportunities to collaborate with musicians from all walks of life.
